Why “Onyx”?
The name Onyx was prayerfully chosen. Onyx is a strong, grounding stone mentioned several times in the Bible (Genesis 2:12, Exodus 28:20). It was even used in the breastplate of the High Priest, symbolizing value, beauty, and strength. Spiritually, onyx represents endurance, protection, and steadfastness—characteristics that reflect what we offer in our therapeutic work.
At first glance, some might associate the word “onyx” with mystery or darkness due to popular cultural interpretations. But at Onyx Therapeutic Solutions, we reclaim that image—connecting it to God’s strength in our weakness and His ability to turn even the darkest seasons of our lives into testimonies of hope and healing.
